As an artist, Lam always had a passion for creating and bringing ideas to life, and she deeply valued expressing my creative self. This, in turn, has led her to interior design, and she is passionate about creating spaces that are not only aesthetically captivating but also contribute to an inclusive and sustainable future.
Thesis Project
Lam’s fourth-year project is called The Orchard. Located on 430 Six Miles Rd, View Royal, B.C, The Orchard is an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) support and learning centre looking to provide more opportunities for education and support to children with ASD and their families. Using a nature-inspired transitional look, The Orchard aims to capture the comfort of a peaceful orchard in a close-knit, supportive community, creating a comfortable learning environment.
