– Graduate –

Driven by a passion for the arts and inspired by her parents’ work in carpentry, Isabell discovered a deep connection to interior design. This led her to pursue a degree in the field, refining her artistic skills while embracing the technical aspects of the profession. The fusion of creativity, purpose, beauty, and technical precision drew her to design, and she is consistently motivated by the challenge of bringing ideas to life with intention. The natural world grounds her work, guiding her use of materials and elements that reflect the interconnectedness of all living things.
Thesis Project
Isabell’s thesis project, Healing Haven Integrated Cancer Care Centre, explores integrated approaches to healing and community-based care for individuals affected by cancer. Located in Port Alberni, the project offers a holistic healing environment that emphasizes patient autonomy, well-being, and connection. This space bridges conventional and complementary care, offering patients medical treatment alongside wellness therapies, education, and community support. With biophilic design and a calming organic aesthetic, Healing Haven promotes both physical and emotional healing.
